Refund Policy
We stand by our product. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we want every interaction with Valise to reflect the standard of excellence you expect from a luxury service.
14-Day Money-Back Guarantee: If you are unsatisfied with your subscription within the first 14 days of purchase, we will issue a full refund — no questions asked. Request your refund directly from Account → Subscription.
After 14 Days: We handle requests on a case-by-case basis. If you are unhappy with your experience, reach out to support@valisedesk.com and we will make things right.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Access continues through the end of your current billing period. Partial refunds for unused consultations are not issued after the 14-day window, except where required by applicable law.
Invite-code subscriptions: Subscriptions activated via invite codes are not eligible for automated refunds. Contact support for assistance.
Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. For full details, see Section 6 of our Terms of Service.

Our Terms of Service cover eligibility (18+), service description, account responsibilities, subscription billing and consultation windows, cancellation and refund policies, referral program terms, AI-generated content disclaimers, acceptable use restrictions, intellectual property rights (including our trademarks and the Property Genome™ system), warranty disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution via binding arbitration, and general provisions.
Privacy Policy
Our Privacy Policy details the information we collect (account data, search parameters, taste profiles, interaction data, technical data including browser fingerprints), how we use it, the third-party services we share data with (Anthropic, Stripe, Resend, Cloudflare, Sentry, Google Places, SerpAPI, Vercel), our data protection measures (TLS 1.3, bcrypt, AES-256), data retention periods, your rights under CCPA/CPRA and GDPR, international data transfers, and our cookie policy. We never sell your personal information.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Account → Subscription and click "Cancel Subscription." Your access continues through the end of your current billing period. Your saved properties, taste profile, wish list, and search history are preserved with your free account.
Can I change my plan?
Yes. You can upgrade at any time from Account → Subscription. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
What is the Envoy Trial?
Every free account includes one complimentary Privé consultation. This trial gives you the full paid experience — including verified pricing and personalized recommendations — so you can see the value before subscribing.
Are the prices Valise shows guaranteed?
Prices shown are estimates based on current data. Free-tier consultations use AI-estimated pricing. Paid Privé consultations (Envoy and above) include live verified pricing cross-referenced with third-party sources, but actual prices may still vary at the time of booking. We always recommend confirming rates directly with hotels and airlines.
How does the referral program work?
Share your referral code with friends. When a referred user subscribes to a paid plan, you receive a 30-day upgrade to the next subscription tier (e.g., Envoy → Consul). Find your referral code in Account → Referrals. Rewards are non-transferable and carry no cash value.
How does Valise protect my data?
We encrypt all data in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Passwords are bcrypt-hashed. We never sell, rent, or share your personal information for marketing. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Can I delete my account and data?
Yes. Go to Account → Settings and click "Delete Account." All personal data is permanently removed within 30 days. You can also request deletion by emailing support@valisedesk.com. California residents and EU users have additional rights under CCPA and GDPR — see our Privacy Policy.
What if a recommended property doesn’t match the description?
Our Property Genome™ system verifies recommendations against multiple data sources including Google Places and public reviews. If you find a significant discrepancy, please let us know at support@valisedesk.com so we can investigate and improve our data.
Does Valise use my data to train AI models?
No. Your search parameters and preferences are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to generate your recommendations. Anthropic does not use this data to train its models. We never share your email, password, or payment information with AI providers.
Can I share my account with family members?
Accounts are individual. Each traveler should have their own account so personalization — taste profiles, favorites, and recommendations — works correctly for them.
How do I enable two-factor authentication?
Go to Account → Security and follow the steps to enable TOTP-based two-factor authentication. You’ll need an authenticator app (e.g., Google Authenticator, 1Password). Recovery codes are provided during setup — store them securely.
Do you offer group or corporate plans?
